SEAN MICHAEL RAY
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Sean was born with music running through his veins. His mother is a holiness church organist and his father was a renowned bass guitarist.
Inspired by Earth, Wind and Fire's bassist, Verdine White, Sean has traveled the world performing with such artists as Maxwell, John Waite, Gerald Albright, Alex Bugnon, Dionne Farris, Norman Brown, Joey Sommerville, Bob Baldwin and Sheila E.

LIL' JOHN ROBERTS
One of the most sought after Jazz and R & B Drummers of his generation, John “Lil’ John” Roberts has maintained his status in the industry as the ultimate heartbeat. A native of Philadelphia, John quickly became noted as a child prodigy, playing along side Christian McBride and Joey Defranceso at the age of 16.
John’s was awarded a full scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He began his touring career with R&B and Hip Hop artist Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince (Will Smith) and later with Dionne Farris, Xscape, Monica, The Goodie Mob, Joi and three successful world tours with Janet Jackson.
John has been working nonstop with artists such as Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Najee, George Benson, Rachelle Ferrelle, Jonathan Butler, Everette Harp, Boney James, Jeff Lorber, Peter White, Kirk Whalum, Bob Baldwin, Eric Essix, Rick Braun, Gabriela Anders and Gerald Albright, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Prince, Sheila E, Mary J. Melvin Butler tours and records as a saxophonist with Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band, with whom he is featured on several major-label recordings. He earned his Ph.D. in music from New York University in 2005 and has taught at the University of Virginia, Yale University, and the University of Chicago. In 2016, Butler joined the faculty at the University of Miami, where he now serves as an associate professor in the Frost School of Music and the Department of Musicology. He has also performed and/or recorded with Dr. Lonnie Liston Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Joey DeFrancesco, Gloria Gaynor, Christian McBride, Eric Essix and Betty Carter.
Matt Rohde is a Los Angeles-based keyboardist, Musical Director, Arranger and Composer. He has toured and/or recorded with a long list of famous artists in a wide variety of musical styles, including Jane’s Addiction, Issac Hayes, Jenifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Alanis Morrissette and Prince. Currently Matt has been an Associate Music Director on Fox’s American Idol for ten years as well as an arranger for The Voice on NBC.
