FOOD+ Culture Fest– This inaugural event is scheduled for October 13, 2023, at Pepper Place. The festival will include four-day events, plus 10+ dinners at restaurants all over the city, and more than 50 invited featured chefs, mixologists, brewers, and more.

For the 30th season, Burritt on the Mountain is excited to welcome back our long running Summer Concert Series. The City Lights & Stars Concert Series hosts seven concerts from May through September, with musical acts from varying genres. This years lineup features the Eric Essix Group once again for the 7th time!
The Chattanooga Festival of Black Arts & Ideas: Juneteenth Independence Day (CFBA&I), is a multi-day festival celebrating Juneteenth through the extraordinary contributions of artists of African descent in the disciplines of music, dance, theatre, visual arts, film and literature. Each festival honors an exemplary Black artist in their respective field.
The Birmingham Public Library will host its second annual “A Novel Tasting” fundraising event on April 6, 2023. This special evening will feature live music; a tasting of wines, craft beers, and locally distilled spirits; catered food; a silent auction; cigar bar; and a special VIP reception.
This event features Eric performing in a Duo setting with keyboardist, Joseph Stallworth.
